The radiant, bold, and beautiful sound of GENTLE GLOW’s music is a true reflection of a whole group of dedicated and passionate artists, united by their vision to create songs that move hearts and minds around the globe.
The indie-pop group from Austria has developed their own vibrant and colorful pop sound, infused with positivity and meaningful messages.
The combination of expressive vocals and imaginative instrumentation takes the audience on an emotional journey, accompanied by a spectacular light show and a gentle glow – the sound light of GENTLE GLOW.
After being founded in 2017 by Jasmin Neuninger (Vocals/Piano) and Roman Schrank (Guitar/Percussion), the two set out on their journey to write music together as GENTLE GLOW.
Just one year later, the first studio album ‘Heroes in Between’ followed, for which they engaged highly qualified studio musicians.
Shortly afterwards, the two decided to expand their band. After several successful concerts and studio productions, the full line-up of GENTLE GLOW grew to five members: Lisa Duschet (backing vocals), Chris Schrom (drums), and Andrea Vari (bass), who, alongside Jasmin and Roman, deliver an electrifying live show.
After the release of the first singles ‘The Flame’ and ‘Blossom’, the band decided to have their next song produced in Germany. With the release of ‘LaST CaLL’ in October 2021, GENTLE GLOW has now managed to attract international attention. The band skilfully wrapped their message in a modern dance beat, thereby also reaching a younger audience. The song was played alternately on various airplay and FM radios in the UK, Sweden and the US (California, Miami, New York). ‘LaST CaLL’ was also played on some Austrian ORF radios.
In December 2021, the Christmas song ‘Time of Wonder’ was released, which built on the success of ‘LaST CaLL’ and ended up on numerous international playlists (Great Britain, Norway, Latin America and the USA).
In the following year, the band worked on the production of a German-language song for the first time, in addition to various concerts and open-air events at public cultural events. The love song, entitled ‘AugenBlick’, was released in September 2022 and made it into Austrian FM radio. 2023 was marked by a complete reorientation of the appearance and the live shows – new songs like ‘Do iT’, ‘Who R YoU’ and ‘LiFe iS LikE an OcEaN’ in combination with classical music and JFK's peace speech as an intro and a new light show shaped the new style of GENTLE GLOW at their concerts.
2024 is the most eventful year in the band's history. The band presented itself in its new splendour at various concerts, with the highlight being Europe's largest open-air event in Vienna. After the songs ‘Do iT’ and ‘Who R YoU’ sparked the greatest enthusiasm among both the audience and various critics, they were produced in a renowned Hamburg recording studio and released on all streaming platforms in autumn.
